David Hadsel

David Hadsell is the founder of May River Advisory, focused on assisting firms achieve their growth ambitions through business strategy, GTM, sales, client and account design, implement and operations. May River Advisory industry experience includes healthcare, Government, AI and social media firms.

Previously, David was EVP and Chief Customer Officer of Gainwell Technologies, a leading provider of digital and cloud-enabled solutions vital to the administration and operations of health and human services programs. In this role, he led account performance and business development activities for all Gainwell clients. David was responsible for the full life cycle of client account management including growth, client satisfaction and financial results. In addition, David led the direct sales organization and sales support and proposal functions. Gainwell achieved record growth and client retention during his tenure.

Previously, David was vice president of DXC Global Healthcare & Life Sciences. In this role he was responsible for Public Sector and Healthcare & Life Sciences industry revenue and growth initiatives across the company’s commercial and government markets in payer, provider, and life sciences markets.

David brings more than 30 years of experience supporting public sector and healthcare clients. Expertise gained throughout his career includes leading global transformation programs, client innovation and growth initiatives, and holding a variety of operations and sales leadership positions. Additionally, David has successfully developed business in the communications, finance, manufacturing, utilities, and U.S. Federal Government business segments.

Prior to joining DXC in 2017, David was Vice President of Americas and U.S. Public Sector Sales for HP Enterprise Services, responsible for sales and business development in commercial industries, federal, state and local agencies. He also served as sales leader for the Consumer Industry and Retail/Energy market segments. David began his career at EDS as a leader in the Legal Affairs group, responsible for client management with U.S. federal agencies.

David graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with a bachelor’s degree, majoring in biology and psychology.
